Videojet Launch the enhanced 2300 series

Videojet launches enhanced 2300 outer case coding products

Videojet large character printer

This week Videojet launched the enhanced series of 2300 large character inkjets, giving them a complete range of fresh new outer case coding products to offer to the market.

“This is an exciting time for Videojet in the UK as we have launched three new products already this year, with more planned to launch later in the spring.” (Ian Watson, Country Manager UK & Ireland)

The new enhanced Videojet 2300 Series has a moulded, rounded front plate to protect the printhead from impact with boxes on the line, ensuring consistent print quality in secondary packaging applications. The printers are available with an optional remote user interface based on the intuitive CLARiTY operating system, which makes it easy to change settings or select messages for printers in hard-to-access areas, such as on an elevated conveyor or in tight production environments.

The new Videojet 2340, 2350 and 2360 printers all feature Videojet's patented automatic printhead micropurge. This feature provides automated micropurging of the printheads during operation, helping to eliminate frequent downtime, while maintaining high quality printing, even in dusty environments.

“By printing variable information onto cases on-line, these printers provide a dependable means to substantially reduce inventory expense by eliminating the need for preprinted cases. They also can be a very cost-effective alternative to print-and-apply labelling,” says Scott Prochaska, Videojet’s business manager for secondary packaging. “The new Videojet 2300 Series printers are capable of printing text, logos and GS1 compliant barcodes up to 70mm high to meet a variety of case coding needs.”
