The Videojet DataFlex Plus printing system represents the latest generation of thermal transfer technology for marking on flexible packaging. The DataFlex Plus is suitable for intermittent and continuous applications and can be adjusted to production requirements. Optimised ribbon usage results in a nominal ribbon gap between consecutive prints of 0.5mm.

High-resolution print quality

The DataFlex Plus thermal transfer printer (TTO) delivers high-resolution print quality onto flexible packaging film or labels. This printing system is ideal for marking variable data such as the date, time, batch code, ingredients and logos. The efficient printer is best suited to applications in the food industry, e.g. bakery items, confectionery, frozen foods, pre-packaged fresh vegetables, meat and coffee or for household goods and medication.

Minimal downtime

The DataFlex Plus is measured by its tried and tested, low maintenance direct ribbon drive. This minimises downtime and delivers high availability. The long ribbon length together with ribbon save technology minimises the number of ribbon changes and downtime during production changeovers. The nominal ribbon loss between consecutive prints is just 0.5mm. Ribbon changes are fast, easy and virtually error-proof. More prints per roll can be achieved, at a consistent level of image quality.

Easy to operate

On the colour touch-screen, the user navigates the intuitive graphical interface and WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) display quickly and easily. Reduced downtimes and lower training costs make the DataFlex Plus printing system an efficient solution. The system also has various interfaces and up to four printers can be controlled from one control unit.
